Jilin Chemical Fiber Group Co., Ltd. was founded in 1960 and put into operation in 1964. Now it has developed into a large-scale comprehensive enterprise with chemical fibre production and sales as the main part, which integrates state-owned assets management, textile and garment, design and development, construction and installation, commercial trade, etc. Under the jurisdiction and management of a A-share listed company, a new three-board listed company and other 26 enterprises. There are 13,000 employees with total assets of 17.5 billion yuan.
The company's leading products include man-made silk, bamboo fiber, acrylic fiber, carbon fiber, chemical fiber pulp, yarn, more than 450 varieties of six series, customers are widely distributed in more than 20 provinces, municipalities, Asia, Europe, the United States, Africa and more than 30 countries and regions. At present, the four leading products in the industry have obvious advantages in quality and scale. Among them, the annual production capacity of rayon is 68,000 tons, accounting for 27% of the global production capacity, and 45% of the products are exported to the international high-end market; the annual production capacity of acrylic fibers is 380,000 tons, accounting for 20.5% of the global production capacity; a number of differentiated products such as raw liquor dyeing, vinegar green, Chinese velvet, anti-pilling break the monopoly of foreign countries and go abroad; the annual production capacity of patented bamboo fibers is 150,000 tons, accounting for 50,000 tons Domestic production capacity of 83%, with a complete industrial chain from bamboo pulp to bamboo fiber, bamboo yarn to terminal apparel; carbon fiber precursor annual production capacity of 16,000 tons, carbon filament annual production capacity of 2,200 tons, is currently building precursor and carbon filament expansion projects, is expected to achieve the end of the 13th Five-Year Plan precursor annual production capacity of 50,000 tons, carbon filament annual production capacity of 8,000 tons. Fiber products are widely used in high-end clothing, household clothing, bedding, artificial fur, outdoor products, medical products and other fields. In particular, the successful industrialization of 25K and 48K large tow carbon fibers has promoted the expansion of carbon fibers application fields from military industry, aviation, aerospace to wind power blades, rail transit, automobile lightweight, sports and leisure, and effectively promoted the development of domestic large tow carbon fibers industry.
In 2018, Jilin Chemical Fiber Group achieved 10.38 billion yuan of industrial output and 11.74 billion yuan of sales revenue, up 12% and 18% respectively over the same period of the year; sales of products exceeded 580,000 tons, up 13% over the same period of the year; imports and exports totaled 319 million dollars, up 17.5% over the same period of the year; and employee income increased 17.5% over the same period of the year. Entry continued to grow for six consecutive years.
